Course Description:
This is a foundational course that introduces learners to the diverse nature of the creative industries, particularly in music, dance, and theatre. It aims to equip learners with the necessary knowledge needed to understand the creation, production, presentation, promotion, and consumption of creative outputs within the realm of the performing arts. Emphasis is placed on relationships among members of the artistic workforce, industry trends, relevant laws and regulations, and economic and practical application of arts skills in the local and global markets.
