Shirley Ellis - The Name Game

The name game!

Shirley!
Shirley, Shirley bo Birley
Bonana fanna fo Firley
Fee fy mo Mirley, Shirley!

Lincoln!
Lincoln, Lincoln bo Bincoln
Bonana fanna fo Fincoln
Fee fy mo Mincoln, Lincoln!

Come on everybody!
I say now let's play a game
I betcha I can make a rhyme out of anybody's name
The first letter of the name, I treat it like it wasn't there
But a B or an F or an M will appear
And then I say bo add a B then I say the name and Bonana fanna and a fo
And then I say the name again with an F very plain
and a fee fy and a mo
And then I say the name again with an M this time
and there isn't any name that I can't rhyme

Arnold!
Arnold, Arnold bo Barnold
Bonana fanna fo Farnold
Fee fy mo Marnold Arnold!

But if the first two letters are ever the same,
I drop them both and say the name like
Bob, Bob drop the B's Bo ob
For Fred, Fred drop the F's Fo red
For Mary, Mary drop the M's Mo ary
That's the only rule that is contrary.

Okay? Now say Bo: Bo
Now Tony with a B: Bony
Then Bonana fanna fo: bonana fanna fo
Then you say the name again with an F very plain: Fony
Then a fee fy and a mo: fee fy mo
Then you say the name again with an M this time: Mony
And there isn't any name that you can't rhyme

Everybody do Tony,
Tony, Tony
Bo, Bony
Banana, Fanna, Foe. Fony
Fee, Fie, Moe, Mony
Tony

Pretty good, let’s do Billy,

Billy, Billy
Bo, illy
Banana, Fanna, Foe. Filly
Fee, Fie, Moe, Milly

It is one of the rites of passage that students are eager to cross, officially leaving their status as minors and setting out into the real world as adults. The traditional graduation attire is composed of a toga or gown, a hood and a cap. The diploma, which best completes and makes official the graduate status of a student, is awarded to each graduate later in the ceremony. Each of these articles symbolizes an important meaning surrounding the educational success of a graduate. The Toga Each educational institution usually has its own design and variation of the graduation toga, although all of them are basically similar. Ballad of A Mother's Heart by Jose La Villa Tierra

The night was dark, for the moon was young And the stars were asleep and rare; The clouds were thick, yet Youth went out To see his Maiden fair. "Dear One,"  he pleaded as he knelt Before her feet, in tears, "My love is true; why have you kept Me waiting all these years?" The maiden looked at him unmoved, It seemed, and whispered low: "Persistent Youth, you have to prove  By deeds your love is true." "There's not a thing I would not do For you, Beloved,"  said he. "Then go,"  said she,  "to your mother dear  And bring her heart to me." Without another word, Youth left and went to his mother dear. And opened her breast and took her heart. He did not shed a tear! Then back to his Maiden fair he ran, Unmindful of the rain; But his feet slipped and he fell down And loud he groaned with pain! Still in his hand he held the prize That would win his Maiden's hand; And he thought of his mother dear So kind, so swe...
